Holiday Inn Baton Rouge-South & Convention CTR, an IHG Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay. We had a prayer conference over the weekend and Holiday Inn Baton Rouge made all the accommodation necessary for our event to be a success.

My partner and I were on vacation traveling through Louisiana and decided to stay at this hotel and honestly, we couldn’t have been happier! Rae (hope I spelled that right!!) greeted us with such a warm smile and made us feel right at home. She even handled a tricky situation with another guest so gracefully - it was impressive to watch. We stayed for four days, and our room was cozy, and just perfect. Every little detail made our stay feel special. The only small drawbacks were that the pool was a bit out of date, and the hotel was still waiting on their liquor license so the bar was not open, but those are things beyond their control at the time. Overall, we felt truly cared for and would happily come back anytime!

Room was nice. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. There is a little restaurant/bar that is really nice. I'd definitely stay here again.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel and the incredible team that runs it. I travel to Baton Rouge often for work, and this has become my go-to place every single time. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with genuine smiles, kindness, and professionalism that make you feel right at home. The General Manager is truly exceptional. You can tell he takes pride in the hotel and the guests. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect, and that level of leadership shows in the entire staff. It’s rare to see someone so hands-on, attentive, and committed to creating such a welcoming environment. Every staff member I’ve interacted with has been friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They remember you, they care, and they make you feel valued — which speaks volumes. The hotel itself is always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It gives you peace of mind when traveling, and that means everything when you’re away from home. If you are staying in Baton Rouge, do yourself a favor and stay here. This team sets the standard for hospitality. I truly appreciate everything they do and look forward to every visit. Highly, highly recommend!

My experience was very good we stay there at least two to three times a month the service is awesome the staff is friendly and they go out their way to help you a big thanks to the manager for his assistance every time!!

My stay was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly. My room felt very clean. The price for my room when I stayed was great. Plenty of choices for food are close to the hotel. I would’ve given the rooms 5 stars, but the lighting in the bathroom was very dim. A few of the bulbs for the bathroom mirror needed installed. The tub needs updated. The door into the room was hard to close. Parking was great here. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful, but there is no complimentary breakfast. The breakfast cost $14.95. That was my only disappointment really besides they gave me a mattress topper for a blanket. Lol.

Found a baby gecko in our room! Super cute. Fab was amazing she was so kind during breakfast. She was so funny and charming definitely lit up the room! The cleaning staff on the other hand came off rude and dismissing. The rooms were clean but the cleaning staff didn’t seem to do their job correctly. Overall amazing place to stay and definitely say hi to Fab!
